Largest Mall in Asia

Known as one of the largest malls in Asia, the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) is located at Bay City, near the Manila Bay at the southern end of EDSA (Epifanio de los Santos Avenue). It really is huge and you could seriously get lost if you are not careful.

There are over 1,000 shops within the mall, including some 300 F&B outlets. There is a hypermarket, a cinema complex, and IMAX theatre and even an ice-skating rink. Just outside the mall, facing the Manila Bay is an esplanade with a lovely view of the bay itself.

The IMAX theatre is the first ever in the Philippines, and since Transformers 3 was showing and in 3-D, I could not pass off the chance to watch it there.

We also tried some of the food on offer in the mall. Nothing to rave about, but quite inexpensive.

Shopping has been a favorite hobby for all since ancient times and Mall of Asia is one of the shopping malls I wanted to visit.
